The booking process is simple!
First, reach out via email or a phone call to receive my information packet with full pricing details. Be sure to tell me what type of session you are interested in, your due date if you are expecting, and it's helpful to include a good time for me to call you.
Next, we'll chat about dates, location options, colors for your newborn session and I'll answer any questions you may have.
Once we have a date set, I'll send a standard contract and invoice for the session fee - both may be taken care of online. When booking is complete I will send along additional materials to help you prepare for your specific session, including a family styling guide. Newborn clients can also expect a questionaire to help me prepare.
After. Your session includes one in-person viewing and ordering appointment. Proofs are typically ready within two weeks, and I'll have a variety of prints, albums, frames and other goodies on hand to show you. Print package orders must be placed during our appointment, but add-ons are available any time in the future. Don't worry, I'll guide you thorugh the process, clients are always happy with how simple it is.
Timing is important for both family and newborn sessions.
Family sessions are scheduled during "golden hour", meaning just before sunset. The late afternoon/evening sun offers the prettiest light and adds a warm touch to your final images.
Newborns should be photographed within their first 15 days, so it's important to reach out early to reserve your spot on my calendar.
It's NEVER too early to book, especially if you are interested in a newborn session. Contact me for details!
