Sunset in Mount Pleasant | Charleston Family Photographer
This session is going to be special to me for a very long time – it’s my first in Charleston! Mount Pleasant, specifically. Gorgeous sunset views like we had that night from Alhambra Hall are just part of the reason I decided to relocate to Charleston, it was perfection.
A little aside; people keep asking me why I’m moving to Charleston, so, in a nut shell, I’m simply Jersey’d out. I’m looking for a quieter, warmer (beachier), friendly place to call home and I think this is going to be a great fit. The timing is right, I’m very excited to start fresh and even though I’ll have to do some rebuilding for my business, it’s going to be worth it. I think my style of family and newborn photography will find its’ own niche, no problem.
While I was apartment hunting back in June, I was able to do a session with the ‘A’ family. We had lots to chat about and the kiddos were adorable, I really had a great time getting to know them.
Alhambra Hall is going to be one of my favorite locations – with view of the Ravenel Bridge in the distance, plenty of water, and just enough tree cover to provide a bit of shade. Of course, who can resist a little wading in the water? By the end, little Miss Caitlin was ankle deep, hehe. I can’t wait for the next one!
